WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) today issued the following statement regarding passage of H.R. 1731, the National Cybersecurity Protection Advancement Act. H.R. 1731 passed with strong bipartisan support, 355-63.
“The National Cybersecurity Protection Advancement Act enhances and strengthens the relationship between the private and public sector as we all work together to protect our homeland from the daily barrage of cyber threats both at home and abroad,” Rep. Scalise said. “This bill complements the strong bipartisan legislation the House passed yesterday to secure our information networks and protect the personal and financial data of the American people.”
